Jason Zeeman is a SAMA* Award Winning (South African Music Awards) singer / songwriter from Johannesburg, South Africa.
Jason fronted the South African, Johannesburg based, rock Band ‘Reason’ and recorded and released 3 studio albums with them. The second of which won at the 14th annual SAMA awards for ‘Christian Pop/Rock Album of the Year’.
Reason’s last recording was the acoustic EP entitled “The 11th Street Sessions”. Reason are no longer recording, and Jason is now a solo artist.
Highlights for Jason is his career include having supported international acts like Delirious? and Tree63. He has also, more recently, played guitar for Tim Hughes & Worship Central on their South African tour, and was also fortunate to do the same for Martin Smith in Johannesburg & Cape Town.
Jason has also been part of the Passion World Tour to South Africa in 2012 and 2016, and remains a passionate supporter of all Louis Giglio and the Passion team are doing around the world.
Locally, he is part of the Worship Central South Africa team and has been working with these amazing people, in this amazing movement at releasing local Worship Central content which is to be released soon.
Jason’s debut record as a solo artist entitled “All Things New” was released in 2013 and was named in the top 5 Christian releases for that year by Louder Than The Music in the UK. The album is available at all online stores and streaming services.
